This is it - tomorrow is the last day of school! I can't believe that this time last year I was packing up my little office in Canberra and getting ready to move over here for my Hong Kong Adventure. Wow.
It has been a little weird having the end of school in the middle of the year. I told Debra today I wanted to play Christmas carols in the library while we are doing all our end-of-year jobs. And I really think a Christmas tree should have been in the staffroom today for our staff lunch!
Of course, as all good social clubs do, we had a dinner organised to celebrate the end of year. We had a great night last Saturday, which ended in a couple of clubs I kept saying I would visit before the year was out. One club had a great band and reminded me of the old days at the Private Bin, and one club is famous for hauling people up onto the bar to dance. Yes, another Hong Kong first.
