Shenzhen

I will never get used to the shopping in Shenzhen. I went up with Anna, Lisa and Sheila to do some last minute Christmas shopping on the weekend. I am always amazed at the amount of shops they can fit into the 5 levels that are more like a big maze than a shopping mall. So much stuff for sale, and so cheap! We bought a truckload of stuff, and somehow managed to squeeze it all into Anna's little mini for the trip home.
Yesterday I discovered a street near me that sells costumes. Everyone had told me about it but I had just never been. At the moment the stalls are crammed with Christmas stuff! Christmas outfits, hats, decorations, tree skirts... you name it, they had it. How Christmassy! I loved it.

And just cause I was in a Christmas mood on the way home, I took a photo of the lovely tree just up the road from my place. It's in a square that is a popular place for Amah's on Sundays, and for the last few weekends they have all been practising Christmas carol songs and dances. I like watching how they spend their day off.
